There are several of East Devon’s climate champions doing good things in the Sid Valley – including the Climate Awareness Partnership Sidmouth looking at what we can do to ‘SAVE MONEY: SAVE THE PLANET’ – retrofit our homes!
Another is the Eco Hub Sidmouth and its fortnightly sessions at the Library and Tourist Info Centre, with last month featuring the Exeter Community Energy offering free advice on keeping cosy:

This month sees it championing food projects, with its most recent session showcasing the Sidmouth Community Food Forest project tackling food waste:

And as a further addition to its programme, the Eco Hub will be putting on special events, including the screening of the documentary Six Inches of Soil at the Radway Cinema, together with a panel of local farmers for discussion of the issues covered in the film:

So, the Eco Hub Sidmouth really is becoming quite a formidable climate champion for the Sid Valley! With huge thanks to its champion Bernie Davis who is the driving force behind the project:
