A couple of weeks ago, and we were celebrating Devon Women in Business.
We are now congratulating another businesswoman in Devon who has done very well in the Female Business Awards 24 – which was quite an event last month, organised by the Female Business Network.
And so, the Winner in the Eco-friendly business category was… the Devon Eco Boutique in Ottery, as reported in the latest Herald:
Nicci Simpson, Founder of Devon Eco Boutique based in Ottery St Mary is announced as a winner in the UK wide Female Business Awards. The Female Business Awards are now in their third year, and recognises the successes and achievements of female-led small businesses across the UK. This year over 600 small businesses were nominated across 15 categories, of which Devon Eco Boutique was confirmed as the Winner in the Eco friendly business category.

We were shortlisted for two female business awards 2024. Sustainable / Planet friendly and product business. We won sustainable/ planet friendly business of the year! This award is UK wide. How amazing is this? I was over the moon to be a finalist. Absolutely speechless to have won!.
And this is not the first of the Devon Eco Boutique‘s awards collected over the years – as covered on these pages last year, showcasing sustainable businesses in East Devon.
