Showcasing sustainable businesses: Ebb Tides @ Moor Beer

Sidmouth’s Ebb Tides have collaborated with Bristol’s Moor Brewery to produce something rather unique:

It’s already getting very favourable reviews:

Ladram Bay Bitter – Moor Beer Company – Untappd

It certainly is a sustainable brew, as said by Moor Brew in Bristol:

Brewed in collaboration with Ebb Tides, award winning sustainable harvesters of edible sea weeds, this is a malty Best Bitter enhanced with gentle umami flavours of Sugar Kelp and Shitake Mushrooms. A hark back to the days before hops became predominant when roots, herbs, fruits and vegetables were added to beer to balance sweetness and provide nutrients.
