Plastic Free Lyme Regis business award
We’re delighted that Plastic Free Lyme Regis – which is part of Turn Lyme Green – has been awarded the prestigious Jurassic Coast business award for best eco-business in 2022. Our Plastic Free champion Grenville Barr represented us at the awards ceremony.
The chair of the judges and the deputy mayor commented that Plastic Free Lyme Regis had fully engaged with the community and had made a tangible difference in reducing the use of single use plastic. Grenville said: “the accolade is really for all the business champions, supporters and the Town Council who have enthusiastically assisted us to reduce plastic used in our community. Tom’s, one of our enthusiastic business champions, won both the best restaurant and was the overall winner for 2022”.
