An active Sidmouth Youth Centre

The Sidmouth Youth Centre in Manstone is a busy active place:

Sidmouth Youth Centre; a fun, open access Youth Centre, for the young people of Sidmouth!
A safe space where young people can learn, and develop healthier, happier lives; Sidmouth Youth Centre runs Youth Club evenings, Skills Nights, and awesome activities in school holidays.
We’ve got a DJ booth, a pool table, Xbox and PS4 consoles! We play sports games, run cookery classes, make arts and crafts projects; our Centre provides opportunities for plenty of laughs, plus a safe place to get support when needed.
The Centre also hosts a variety of community projects and interactions, and has helped to develop our relationship with local schools to improve young people’s education opportunities.
Sidmouth Youth Centre is delivered by Young Devon and Sidmouth Town Council.

And here’s this month’s piece in the Herald from Charlotte Westlake, Youth work coordinator at Young Devon – just published today:

It’s been another busy month here at Sidmouth Youth Centre…

Chris and the team have put out information around our Easter holiday sessions on our social media Facebook page, so have a look to see if you know someone who is interested in coming along. As always, we are looking for volunteers to come and join us in sessions. If this is something that interests you then please get in touch by emailing me at Charlotte.westlake@youngdevon.org. This could be a one-off session or something more regular.

I hope everyone has a great Easter!
