What we can do to ‘SAVE MONEY: SAVE THE PLANET’ – retrofit our homes!

This week – on Thursday 24th October – we can learn about saving energy and money – and retrofitting our homes as part of the Climate Awareness Partnership Sidmouth’s series of events to help us both manage our finances better and do our bit for the environment:

CAPS – Climate Awareness Partnership Sidmouth

The Exeter Community Energy [ECOE] project people will be on hand during the event to answer questions – and all are welcome to attend!

Retrofitting is gaining a lot of interest – and there is a lot of advice out there, including from Historic England on how to save energy and reduce carbon footprint in an old house, from property service Right Move showing us how to retrofit a home and how much it will cost?, and from the Centre for Sustainable Energy simply asking What is retrofit?

Here in the Sid Valley, there will be more such sessions coming from CAPS over the next months – so keep an eye on their Events pages!
